A Place of Welcome and Grace
First Christian has been present in Glasgow since 1830 and is now known by many in town as “the church on the hill.” We offer many opportunities for children, youth, & adults to learn & grow in faith through worship experiences, fellowship gatherings, and service in the community.
We are an open & vibrant community of faith, always searching for God’s call in our lives. We are accepting of all people, and we strive to work alongside one another to bring a message of hope and love to all the corners of the world.
Our Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) heritage calls us to be “a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world.” We take this calling seriously and do the best we can each and every day; trusting that God works in us, through us, and beyond us to do great things and to bring people together.
